20 YEARS OF COMME CA ART AT THE LOWRY HOTEL

Back in 2003, the Lowry Hotel invited Comme Ca Art to put together a group exhibition of Manchester based artists in the hotel's gallery space. Fast forwarded to 2023 and Comme Ca Art has curated nearly 150 group and solo artist exhibitions for the hotel.
To celebrate our 20th year we have selected 16 artists who have all exhibited at the Lowry Hotel. Some exhibitions go back years and years whilst other artists have shown very recently at the hotel.
"The Lowry Hotel really is one of my favourite alternative gallery spaces to curate. It's been an integral part of the hotel's offering to their guests with sales of works being shipped all over the world from Australia, to the USA, to Canada, to Europe and throughout the UK. It's always exciting to let an artist know their art has been purchased and is on its way to its new home.
Another great opportunity for the artists is when they are asked to create a bespoke commission for a client. It's wonderful to be able to share the creative process with the client and for them to see how the artist develops their work from initial outline ideas to the finished artwork.
This special exhibition highlights the diversity of the artists who work with Comme Ca Art and at the same time showcases just how many talented artists call Manchester their home."
